Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 1, 2026

This policy describes how Talos ("Talos," "we," "us") handles information on this website (the "Site") and, in summary form, in the Talos application (the "Service"). We built Talos around the idea that every number should be traceable to its source, and we hold this policy to the same standard: it describes what actually happens, not boilerplate.

Information collected on this Site

This Site is a static informational page. It has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts, images, and all other assets are served from our own domain, so viewing this Site sends no requests to third-party services from your browser.

In short: browsing this Site does not create a profile of you, and we do not use cookies or trackers here.

Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically processes standard server logs — such as IP address, browser user agent, and pages requested — to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. These logs are handled under Vercel's privacy policy and are retained only as long as needed for security and operations.

Links to the Talos application

The "Get started" links on this Site take you to the Talos application at talos.niska.app. That is a separate application with its own sign-in, and the practices described under "Information in the Talos application" below apply once you are there. Following the link is what sends your browser to the application — nothing is transmitted to it while you are only reading this Site.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this information to respond to you and, if you ask for one, to set up a demo. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent, and we do not sell or share your contact information.

Information in the Talos application

The Service is offered to campaign teams under separate customer agreements, which govern in detail. In summary, when a customer uses the Service:

We do not sell customer data, use one customer's data for another customer, or use customer data to train AI models.

How we use information

Where laws such as the EU/UK GDPR apply, we rely on legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site), performance of a contract (providing the Service), and consent (where required, for example if you opt in to communications).

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf (such as our hosting and email providers), when required by law, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger — in which case this policy will continue to apply to previously collected data until it is updated. We never sell personal information.

Retention

Contact emails and access requests are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up you request. Service data is retained per the customer agreement and deleted or returned when the agreement ends. Hosting logs are retained on our provider's standard security schedule.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below — we will respond within the timeframe your local law requires.

Children

The Site and Service are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated effective date. Material changes to how the Service handles customer data are communicated to customers directly.
